    Downloading and Installation

  • Hissy Fit: Make Snake Break is available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android (phone and tablet). It requires a strong and stable internet connection to play.

    For Android devices: Requires Android 8.0 or later. For the app to run smoothly, more than 4GB available RAM is required. We are working on optimizing the app to run well on more devices.

    For iOS devices: All Apple smartphones from 2018's iPhone XS or newer that can install iOS 18. All tablets from the 2018 iPad Pro, 2019 iPad Air (3rd gen), iPad mini (5th gen) or iPad (6th gen) and newer that can install iPadOS 18.

  • If you cannot find Hissy Fit: Make Snake Break on the store, your device may not have the minimum device requirements to run the app OR the app is not available in your country. You can check the minimum device requirements in the tab above.

    Google Play Store: While your device may state it has at least 4GB RAM, it may have less than 4GB that is actually available. We are working on optimizing the app to run well on more devices.

    If your device does meet the requirements, but the app is still not appearing, please submit a ticket (here) with a screenshot of the error message and your device model.

  • Hissy Fit: Make Snake Break requires an internet connection to play, so please check that you have a stable WiFi or data connection. Ensure you have updated your app to the newest version.

    If your app is telling you that a new update is available but it is not ready to download in the store, please check back a few hours later as it may take a short while for new updates to roll out to all devices. Make sure to check the Hissy Fit Discord, X, and Facebook for maintenance mode and new update announcements, as well as server issue alerts.

  • Please do not trust third party websites that have a version of Hissy Fit that you can download. Downloading Hissy Fit from anywhere other than the official Google Play or App Store pages could result in putting your device, account, and privacy at risk.

    We are unable to provide support to those using prohibited versions of the app, and we cannot guarantee that functionality such as cloud saves and in-app purchases would be safe to use.

    If players are found to be using prohibited versions of the app, including copies, mods, or hacks, then this will result in permanent bans. Using software to manipulate the game creates an unfair advantage over other players, and is strictly prohibited.

    Beta Testing

  • You can sign up by joining the Hissy Fit Discord server and following the instructions there. Discussion and feedback take place within the Hissy Fit Discord server.

    Please note: a post-launch beta usually runs for a short period prior to the official release of an update. The beta is then deactivated (and inaccessible) once the official release is live.

    Accessibility

  • Hissy Fit supports a variety of controllers. Please ensure the controller you choose is compatible with your device and that it maps to a standard console controller.

    Please note: the controller cannot be activated in-game. Additionally, there is nothing in-game to activate or manage the controller.

    You must connect and configure the controller before launching the game. Then, when you launch the game, it will automatically be activated as the main peripheral.

    The controller does not work in the menus, only in battles. If you want to switch to touch control during a battle, simply tap the screen and you will see the touch controls appear. To return to using the controller, use any of its inputs.
